Default Dyno Tune

I am about to add 42# injectors, an 80mm mass air and a 255lph pump. I undertand that will need to have the car dyno tuned so the ECU is dialed to the new injectors and should not start the car after the installation without having the tune up. Is this true? If so, what should I expect to pay for a professional Dyno tune?

Are you turbo'd or supercharged? If not, that setup is way overkill for whatever you have.

hoepfully you are forced induction with a fuel system of that sort.

is your 80mm mass air unit set up for 42# injectors on a fox? if so, no dyno tune is required. if not and its like a lightening mass air unit, then yes you will need a dyno tune. they vary on cost but range starting 300 on up.

Thanks for the response. I am currently running a Vortech S-1 blower into a performer Eddy with a set of Trick Flow TW heads. The S-1 is running about 6 - 8 PBS of boost.

let me see if i can further clarify, also that statement is for NA set ups. that was said before it was known he was boosted...so, if its already set up. like example. my C&L is 76mm set up for 19# injectors. i dont need a dyno tune. thats all i was getting at. and when i go to 30# later. i switch out the injectors and test tube and no dyno tune is required. to get the most out of the set up, yes i'd need a dyno tune...but not required. still disagree?
