It's very hard to blow a head gasket. Usually, too lean a mixture will cause that to happen. And I know you just installed an intake last week, so my bet is on the broken bolt. Remember to change the oil. Oh and last week I gave you the wrong part number for the gasket. Sorry about that. It was for the Ford Racing version of the gasket. The dealership does not carry the Ford racing stuff. Good luck!
pull the intake and see if anything is hanging out of the head, hope you can get it out somehow
heres a pic of where bolt broke, it was screwed in more but i was able to unscrew it you think that could of caused coolant to leak even if the screw if that far from water port

lol yeah i did notice you gave me wrong gasket number no parts store could find that number untill i called the guy who sold me intake and said just ask for an 96 explorer gasket and thats when i noticed it was just the last number that was diffrent. This intake is driving me crazy ive unbolted it and bolted it on so many times trying to find a vac leak, this is going to be like my third oil change
So, did all of this occur after the intake manifold installation? Did you ever get the car timed correctly? That bolt really got in there. Luckily you were able to get it out. Did you re-tap the threads?
i used thread sealant on the lower intake bolts that go through the coolant passages. Also, i put it on the threads of the ACT sensor, coolant temp sensor, and the heater rail. Are you tightening bolts with a torque wrench?
