very good system, worked well with my 302.

not so well with my 347.

If you are seriously considering the MS as a tuning alternative for your car. i would recommend that you go to www.msefi.com and read your *** off.

I would also like to point you towards the microsquirt as opposed to the MS or MS2. I ran a MS2 v3(pcb) in my car for a while. at the time I had wished I was running a 2.2 MS1 with the MSnS firmware.

You shoud research the microsquirt as the last time I looked into it, there was support for the Ford MAF. If you build a system that can work in conjunction with the maf system already in our cars, you may find that the tweecer websites have MAF transfer function tables for such MAF sensors as the lightning 90mm, which you could then directly program into the micro and have a MUCH easier time with the tuning then I EVER did!

6 of one, half dozen of the other... I couldnt get the car started for some reason... never figured out why. My 347 was brand new and I didnt want to risk messing it up by fuel washing the cylinders, so I just slapped a MAF on it and called it a day

I have however, seriously been considering buying a microsquirt and trying again

before the newer versions of the MS-2 firmware (v2.8) the MS system was a Alpha-N and SD system.

It has recently incorporated the use of MAF

do you think that since it now has an MAF it will work with a 347?

do you have tuning software on your car right now?...is there any good piggybacks that will work like a megasquirt as far as the tuning goes?

I dont think you quite understood what I was saying... Megasquirt can run ANY engine. I was having fuel flooding issues and did not want to sacrifice a $2000 shortblock.

Did my car not run because of the 347.. no.. It was because I changed my fuel requirements and delivery quantity... I would feel alot more comfortable trying to get the car running now

and dont get a tweecer... that **** is garbage
