Default h/c/i combo question

im planning on porting a set of gt40s. i was looking at the steeda #18 cam and mabye a holley systemax intake with all supporting mods. 1.7 rollor rockers. is this a good set up or should i go with a different cam and intake. its a street car, just looking to make 270+ hp on a budget.

My combo is:
Steeda #18
ported and milled e7s w/1.7rr
Typhoon upper/lower
65mm tb
70mm maf
Full exhaust and 3:73s
I've been happy with the performance of the cam/combo, no idle issues, good streetable power. I think the dual pattern of the 18, favoring the exhaust side, works well. Steeda claims great results with that cam in a gt40 combo. I have yet to have mine dynoed.

I am begginning to tear my down this week to do and HCI swap. Ive got some GT40p's, Ported and milled, Isky cam, Explorer upper and Lower(ported Lower), with a 70MM mass air, and Im hoping for the 280hp range.

I was originally gonna go with the Steeda #18 but Steeda could not give me an answer as to why their cam is good, all they can tell me is that they made numbers(they didnt even tell me a number all they could say is that they had a good number), I suggest a Trickflow Stage 1 its cheaper and will yeild the same results. Every thing else is fine the systemax two is a great setup. I would do your setup with a shot on top of that and your good.

I just dropped my 94 gt off for to have a set of holley system max heads, ported cobra intake with phenolic spacer, and a 73mm maf today. I am going with the B303 cam though, what are the differences between it and the steeda?
