Default 302 transmission mating question.

Hey guys im trying to help out my buddy, hes doing an F150 with a 5.0 and hes got an E4OD transmission out of a 93 Ford Lightning that had a 351...it should match up with the 5.0 correctly right as long as hes got a 5.0 Flywheel?

also note if it is a 4x4 its going to have a different linkage to the tcase if its a manual shift one. and you will need to grab the overdrive switch out of hte dash.

thanks man, no he made sure to pick up a 2x2 for that reason. he wanted to make basically a fast f150 he couldnt find a 351 cheap enough for it so hes going with the 5.0 but still wanted to use the lightning tranny.
