engine turns but doesn't start
alright i have had this 1992 5.0 hatchback 5spd. for nearly 3 yrs. with no problems what so ever, i use mid-grade gas and within the same week i put on cold air intake this problem happened leaving me sit on the side of the road!!!
i am curious maybe when putting the C.A.I. on i messed up the MAS?
now i do get spark, and i checked the fuel pressure relief valve, and it sprays great! just doesn't start here is what i have done since,
new parts: electric igniton mod., fuel pressure reg. fuel pump relay, fuel filter fuel pump, distributor cap, rot. button, in the hatch i pressed the reset button by the dr. side tail light
now i did spray starter fluid into the throttle and it fires right up and after it burns it all it dies again PLEASE HELP!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

Being that fuel is pressurizing the fuel rail then the next place to look would be the injectors I would think. Sounds like it is not getting fuel because of your use of starter fluid and it starting then dieing. Either glogged injectors(which I doubt sense it was fine then just stopped running). I dont know exactly what triggers the the injectors pulsing on Mustangs but I would think they have a constant hot and the ecu pulses the ground. Check and see if your injectors are getting a hot signal and look at your plugs to see if they have fuel on them. If they are getting a hot signal and you plugs have no fuel on them then I would imagine that it has something to do with the ecu.

alright i don'tcompletly understand, so what your saying is it could be the injectors wiring harness? and i should check the plugs going into the injectors, and if i get a bad signal than? what needs replaced or repaired? sorry
