just for $hits and giggles. reconnected the pipe that is for the smog pump to the back of the heads to make sure the plugs werent causing a problem. kept the end plugged. same problem. smells like the car is running rich. blueish tint smoke coming from the exhaust. i spoke with someone from a parts store. suggested to hook back up the map vac line when i was asking about a adj fpr. that is one thing that i havent tried. any suggestions. ran out of gas so i'm done for the night. and i ran through about 2 gallons really fast.

take the spark plugs out of the back of the heads and use 5/8-11 bolts.... do it right, or dont do it at all!

yeah i was definately trying to do it right the first time. believe me. i didnt make a stop at home depot or lowes doing my voyage out, but heard of spark plugs working just fine and i was considering seeing the tread and bringing that to the store so i was 110% sure thats what was needed. either way that didnt break or fix my problem. i'm going to try the map line tomorrow and see what happens.

well, i assure you, they are not the correct piece to have in there... they will come out eventually.. so if you like engine bay fires... be my guest.. otherwise...

5/8-11, about 1" long, and use a washer or two

no i didnt get the bolts yet. still have the pipe from the smog pump still connected. went around for a while today without anything going wrong. i'ma look at unplugging the harnesses behind the psgr wheel maybe tomorrow or the next day when i'm sure everything is running right.

its jumpy cause the intake is make for an explorer not a mustang. Put the stock intake back on they are good up to 700hp. Stock intakes flow up to 1500 cfm
