Default 89 build up, few questions..

I got an 89 LX hatch. I am looking at the "pro-formance unlimited 302 with 380 Hp or the 347 with 425 Hp, still getting price quotes. Am wondering what transmissions you guys recommend. and were is a good place to get a rear end looking for a 9 inch. umm I am new to this "build" thing what else do i need to get the car in good shape to handle my hp level needs. planning on long tube headers cat less pipe full suspension.

If your staying EFI, New MAF, Injectors, Fuel Pump. Plus any intake needs and header needs.

It the 302 you can run an Upgrade T-5 or Tremec. For the 347 the tremec.

Based on their other prices, I would say like $7,000 for the turn key.
