few questions furing a raddy pull.
This is for my 89 Hatchback Fox, 5.0, T5
I am in the process of installing
Aluminum Radiator,
Taurus Fan
3G alternator
A/C delete
and deleting the smog pump.
I pulled the radiator and the a/c condensor thats located in front of it, and had a question (or two):
Theres a line that runs to the front of my car, and then turns around and heads back, at first i thought they were tranny cooler lines but the T5 doesn have a cooler and it doesnt attatch to anything. Are these lines just there from the factory in case an automatic is installed in the car or..?
Also, located on the passenger side of the car under where the air intake would be, theres a little box, with two ***** and a few leters and numbers on it. What is it and do i need it because i knocked into it and broke a hose... if i can ill just pull it when i remove the old ac hoses.
Thanks, hoping to get her back on the road soon.

I believe the line you are talking about is the P/S cooler line, as for the black box you broke a line on= carbon canister = stores evap emissions in it to be purged into the intake at appropriate time, you can remove it if you wish to vent fuel vapors to the atmoshpere, but personally I'd leave it there.
