Guys Really Need Some Help 4 Days on this
Installing a new 347 engine having problems with trans
So i have had the trans on and off four times i thought bellhousing(lakewood) was problem took trans off of bellhousing installed housing flywheel and crank clear turns over by hand crank just fine no rubbing or freezing up so good i thought install trans bolt it down no motor wont move at all
this trans bellhousing was on car before motor was rebuilt ran fine no grinds smooth going seems like input shaft is maybe binding up when tightening trans?
do i trim shaft down or is there something im missing
fyi when tightening bolts for trans to bell i hear a POP and im not sure will trans slides in with so turning and aligning flywheel to block plate has cleareance i cant figure this out losing my mind trying to get this to work
my clutch is centerforce dual friction pn-df021048
flywheel came with eagle rotating assembly kit/ Ram 1527 157 tooth
Trans borg warner T5 1352085922

did you check your bellhousing runout, alignment, and mounting depth
thats what i think is messing everything up i dont have the tools for that or knowledge of getting all that right i really dont think i need this bellhousing the stock t5 should just bolt right up and have all the correct alignment is that right should i just get a stocker bellhousing and see i have someone that has one for 50 bucks with backing plate???

AdderMk2 if you dont have the tools or the knowledge to do the job right, get the stock parts and be done with it
Thats what i am looking at doing i was just wondering if this could be from something different i bought the car with the lakewood on it
so be using the stock t5 bellhousing it should work and stop the binding or whatever it is doing?
