^ Good choice, but to the OP, remember that springs are an ABSOLUTE must have, the stockers are not really even enough on a stock cam.

this si probally a stupid question, but you mean comp as in the brand right? and im also hearing the springs in the stock heads are not up to par... another guy recomended puting in some roller rockers...so this would be a good way to improve on the stocker heads???, bc i could swing that with my budget.

right on , i get it. stocks heads are trash, but lets just pretend i have a family and DONT have hundred dollar bills fallin out my a$$, are you saying that there isnt really any point in doin anything to stock heads? and just save up for new heads??? and not to be pushy to anyone, but im still looking for cam info, pretend i had heads, but thanks for all the input keep it comin

GT40's are extremely cheap used, modding stock E7's never ends up making financial sense.

look for mid to late 90's exploders with a 5.0 and then snag the heads they are gt40s

shouldnt choose a cam until you choose some heads

and GT-40's can be had for like $300

do all mid to late 90s, 5.0 explorers have have gt40 heads? and the intake off one of those is aslo a gt40 right? so what could you expect to give for the upper and lower?
