you can just get a set of mac shorties, or FMS shorties, and you'll be fine with them

Say what you want about P heads, they work damn good on my car with BBK unequal shorties, my car runs strong with them. Oh and Adders old intake lol.

There still great head's. The main issue is the plug's and plug wire's. alot of header's will work fine as adder stated.


If you pay $100 for them and put $100 for cleaning etc. make sure to get them checked to be sure there not warped or anything.


P head's are sapposed to make more power then regular GT40's. But there can be issue's with SOME headers, and plug wires getting melted by the headers. And i think you MIGHT need a different spark plug....

Your intake is treating me great, I'm going to the track tonight so we'll see what kind of times I can get out this car, it is very fun on the street. I am buying a Lasota racing custom chip next week to add to the mod list.

Im going to a differant junk yard this weekend. Ill see what i can find...

I might still buy them. I have shorties but then again i dont know if i will put them on my engine right away because its getting up there in miles...

my car had 150k when i rebuilt the head's and had them polished.

the new spring's and valve's really gave it some "life" back. Most noteably it started up faster. use to take 4-5 turn over's to fire, but now its always 3.
