top end swap
Hello all,
Its been awhile since I have posted anything due to being at work for most of my waking hours or at least it seems that way...im sure I am not alone lol. However, I have recently put my stang out of commission to take care of some rust in front of my aftermarket sunroof and luckily no holes but until I have a little more time shes down to the bear metal and in the garage. Anyway, I've been kicking the idea around of doing a swap of the top end off the explorer 5.0 to get a couple extra ponies out of my stock 5.0 for relativley cheap. So I found gt40 cylinder heads with a gtp code as well as the matching upper and lower intakes. What else will I need to make this happen and is it worth it? I have heard it kicks the horses up 30 and some have told me less. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks!
