Default Wont start sometimes

95 5.0 will not start sometimes. It is getting to where it will not start about half the time now. The motor turns over good but it sounds like it is not firing sometimes. I have changed the coil, ccrm, ignition switch. I know for sure that it is getting fuel when it will not start. Also you can push start it and the car will start. So im guessing it is something electrical?

The battery may not be providing enough cranking amps also check your starter, check your battery terminals, they might be corroded and in bad shape. It can't be you're alternator since you can push to start unless the car dies after a while of driving. I've had a similar problem myself. Good luck fixing it!

it is a newer battery and I cleaned the terminals and all the ground wires....the motor turns over fast just like always....but just sometimes it will not fire unless you push start it....I will try the distributor next though...what does the hall effect sensor do?

Do mustangs have a pickup like ford trucks do?

the hall effect tells the coil when to fire so mine was messing up at times and then went out all the way and to replace the pick up or hall effect you would have to take to hole dizy apart and put new parts back in and the mec say its easyer to just get a new dizy so thats what I did and now I run good so I would say just change the dizy and dont mess with taking it apart ,Good luck and write back and let us know what happens
