Default T-5 Fluid

My T5 is about due for a fluid change. Just wondering what is the best fluid to run in them.

Yes, manuals also need fluid changes. And for the auto t5....this does not exist.. If it has fluid, it will need to be changed at some point....

To the OP, I would run mercon III if you can find it.

To Drift stang, if you have a 1993 and do not know when the last time the fluid has been changed, it is cheap assurance to just change the fluid.

When I did my buddys, we used the plug on the side. We just used something to suck it out of the bottle and into the tranny. You can fill it through the shifter area, it just takes foerever, IIRC.
