could be oil leaks up high running down onto the flywheel

Well sounds like its time to pull the engine you can't just keep guessing for ever its time to roll up the sleeves and get dirty lol but seriously I think the only way you are going to pin piont this problem is if u pull the block

I know. Problem is, my garage is shot. My tools are everywhere, and we are trying to move..

Now the damn thing is making noise when I slow down to stop at a light.
