Lightbulb Time for a New Carb + Intake manifold

Hey guys i was thinking about getting an Edelbrock Thunder Series AVS® 650 CFM Carburetor (electric choke) and a Performer RPM 302 with EnduraShine finish (non-EGR). Btw This is for a 1985 Mustang Gt 5.0

My question is what do you guys think of the combo?

Do you guys recommend another combo?

And if i went with the combo above would it fix under a stock hood or would i need an aftermarket one?

Thanks for your thoughts in advance

I'd get a Quick Fuel carb, mechanical secondary with annular boosters, then the right intake to go with the rest of the setup.
