Default ATF or Gear Oil?

Okay I got a Borg Warner 5 Speed transmission the only numbers I could find are these
13-52-066-919
the tag is missing from the transmission those are stamped in right under the shifter on the side

I need to know if I used ATF in it or Gear Oil?

you always want to use ATF in a t-5. Gear oil will ruin it.

A NON-WC T5 uses gear oil

a 85+ WC T5 use ATF

http://www.moderndriveline.com/Techn...t5_history.htm

ALL World Class T-5 use ATF oil and NOT heavy gear oil or Redline MTL! All NON-World Class T-5 use 70 wt gear oil.

Casting numbers on the side of the main case or extension housing CANNOT help you ID a transmission

How can you tell the difference between a WC T5 and a Non WC T5? I need to change my tranny fluid and I noticed when I put the motor and tranny back in the car a while back, ]it was filled with gear oil. I don't know if the previous owner put gear oil in it without realizing it needs ATF or if gear oil is right.

The Hayne's manual calls for the following
T50-D Mercon ATF
All others 80W gear oil
I just put a new clutch in my 90 GT and it had Borg Warner on it and I know for a fact it had gear oil in it and I know it was old so apparently it's not a T50-D

Well I know mine says Borg Warner on it but I know it had gear oil in it I don't know if its WC or NWC But since Gear Oil is what was in it then I guess that's what I'm going to put in it
