new to me 90 gt is way too slow. my truck feels just as fast[2000gmc]

I had a similar problem not long ago with my 95GT, it turned out to be bad plug wires. They were sitting on my headers and had melted threw, and would ground out pretty frequently on the headers.

Depends on what kind of motor you have in that Sierra, but 90s are pretty quick stock. Make some minor adjustments and you'll be feeling the rumble in no time.

my 02 silverado ran a 14.6 my 88 stang was slower untill
i threw on a exhaust and some GEARS with a converter and shift kit. now the is alot faster without even touching the motor

i would put in 3.55 or 3.73 gears. My 89 gt didn't seem to fast with the stock 2.73's i think they were in it, but when I put in 3.55's it felt like a whole new car. gears are the way to go!<IMG src=smileys/smiley1.gif border="0"></P>

it is a 5 speed. maybe it is that all of them are slow.
