Default sn95 pad and rotor change weird outcome

so i changed the rear brakes on my 94 gt and i changed them to power slot rotors and hawk hp street pads. my question is after i did the brake in with the brakes and now that i have been driving on them for a couple of days now. the zinc plated makes them like a shiney grety, but they seem to turned to a darker shade of grey?? i am not sure if this is a normal thing, but ill be honest i dont think i have ever seen it. now i had somone run next to the car to see if the brakes were dragging. he said no, so i then took it on about a 20 minute drive at highway speed, bout 55 mph and then checked the temp of my rear brakes, they were slightly warm to touch but not hot. i am a little concerned because the rear brakes alone were about 300 bucks shipped and i dont want to mess up the rotors or pads. if anyone has any insight on this, that would be great. also i could take some pics with my iphone, but i dont know if you will able to see it well enough.

thanks guys

ok just went out there and took some pics now i see a decent amount of rust on the rotors, aren't the zinc plated rotors suppose to be pretty rust resistant??

also im not 100% on how to post my pics any help with that as well would be appreciated.

they are only zink plated that means only the outside is plated. as soon as you start driving you remove more and more of the zink plating every time you hit the brakes revealing more and more metal. if you take a set of use rotors and spray them with water they will start to rust in minutes its only normal. it will go away when you drive again

Also after a rear brake job, do you sometimes need to adjust your e brake? my e brake still works, its just that it seems like it doesnt bite as hard as before
