Yea dont get me wrong. If I had a good manual tranny I would stick with it but im just tired of screwing around. D&D makes a viper spec kit Ive been dreaming about but i dont want to spend that kind of cash and have it be just another syncro grinder. I guess I have no cheap fix and thats exactly why I want to get something that is worth the bang for the buck.
Full built automatic or T-56? ... what do you all think?

3 rebuilds since 06. i think your just ******* your tranny. i would just learn to rebuild them, that'll save you a lot of money, time, and weight(aod).
how much do you want for your junk t5?

IDK last time I broke 8 teeth off the main input shaft and had to replace it, cluster gear, 1,2,3 gears, 3/4 syncro slider...so yea. But the launch before that was sweeeeeet. I burned um all the way through bout 4k in 3rd gear. I probably got about 8K miles out of that last rebuild and now its starting to grind when i shift to 3rd fast. I think going to the 285s in the rear didn't help it either.
I also looked EVERYWHERE for a TR3550/TKO but every one around me wants what they paid for it or damn near to what it costs new.
Nice rides by the way
