Car dying while driving, at wits end here.
Greetings all,
I have a 1994 5.0. For the last couple of months, it has been dying while I am driving it. Sometimes it will chug once, but usually it just dies. After 3-5 minutes, it will start again and run just fine. The interval between dying is not fixed, with the range from 30 minutes to over three weeks. Tonight it died twice after running for a week with no problems.
I have replaced: fuel pump & filter, coil, distributor (including cap & wires), and tfi (ignition module). I have ran the codes, and there are no error codes.
Does anyone have any ideas on what could be causing it to die like it is?
Many thanks,
wierdling

So while it's in no start mode, have you checked it for lack of fuel or spark? Also make sure there are no loose grounds anywhere. maybe get under the hood while it's running and tug on different parts of the harness.

I checked some grounds, but didn't wiggle any of the other sensors. I guess I will do a wiggle test on it this weekend.
Thanks for the post,
