Default 92 347 EFI WITH STARTING PROBLEMS

I PUT A NEW 347 WITH EFI IN MY CAR. THE FIRST 30 TIMES I STARTED THE CAR IT WOULD START UP RIGHT AWAY. THE SECOND DAY I STARTED IT A FEW TIMES AND ONE TIME I WENT TO START IT, IT WOULD NOT START UNLESS YOU GAVE IT GAS AND THEN IT WOULD STILL TAKE A FEW CRANKS BEFORE IT WOULD START. IF THE CAR IS COLD IT WILL START EVERYTIME. IF I START IT AND SHUT IT OFF AND GO BACK TO START IT I WILL HAVE TO GIVE IT GAS TO MAKEE IT START. I DON'TT KNOW WHAT ELSE TO DO SO IF ANYBODY CAN HELP ME WITH SOME ADVICE PLEASE DO.

victor jr heads, 30lb injectors, holley system max intake, 75mm throtle body. everything is new. and like i said it started like 30 times before this started to happen. i changed the fuel pump, pressure reg. and ideal control sensor. the only thing that is giving me trouble is my key switch. sometimes i have to pull it back to make it turn over. you thing that can have anything to do with it? ths car has no check engine light on.

Just because the CEL is not on does not mean codes are not present.

ONLY OTHER THING IS, HOW LONG SHOULD THE FUEL GAUGE HOLD PRESSURE. WHEN I TURN THE KEY OF I LOSE THE PRESSURE RIGHT AWAY. I HAD THE INJECTORS CHECKED AND THEY WAS FINE. I WILL HAVE THE CAR CHECK FOR CODES, I DID HAVE THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ON BEFORE I CHANGE A FEW THINGS AND THEN IT WENT AWAY.
