Swap 1993 Auto to a Manual? HELP!
I bought a 1993 Mustang LX 5.0 because it was exactly the car I was looking for, white, all the options. Everything I wanted, Except its an Auto, anyone know what i'll need to get to do this conversion, and/or about how much it'll cost me in labor, i planned on getting the tranny and most other parts from a junkyard, any help is appriciated.

We did a swap not too long ago, youll need of course the tranny, clutch, flywheel, pedals, driveshaft resized and balanced, cut a hole in the floor, blah blah blah.. We did it ourselves, cost was about 1200 bux... If you had a shop do it, brobably 2200 bux..

why do you need to resize the driveshaft. there is no difference in lenght from an auto to a T5. the difference is the weight for the auto on the DS.
youre better off buying newer parts and why not just get a t56 intead? if youre going ot do it do it right. this way with the 6speed you can easliy run steep gears get good mpg and still have fun shifting the gears, it may just cost more tho
