my friend is looking at a 95' 5.0 stang that is going for 4 grand obo

i was wondering if any1 here has this model car, or if it is a relaible car.


i know the 5.0 engines had sum problems, but is there anything specific i should look for in this?

well i have had no problems with mine i drive it everywhere. and for 4 grand how many miles and what condition will tell you how relaible the car is. but i have known many 5.0s that last forever so he shouldnt have a problem. ohh yea one problem i know off is the rear sway bar breaking they are weak on this year mustang other then that great car.

my rear away bar broke on my 95. Overall, I love the car. I have had some probs, but I can also say that a lot of them weren't the car's fault. It just seems like mustangs are high maintenence. I had an 89 and it needed for attention that the average woman......

in my experience the 5.0 is incredibly reliable. i have an 89 with 215k on it. i'm kind of new to this, so i don't know if anything was changed about the engine by 95. but thats my opinion

4k is a good price if the miles are low and its been well taken care of. so far i think 5.0s are very reliable, iv had my 93 5.0 for over a year, about to hit 100k on the odo and she has never let me walk or had any problems and runs and drives like new. its a great car and engine.
