Default Car drives fine, suddenly shuts off

This is the first time this has ever happened. Yesterday, I went to the store and the car drove good. I came out of the store and it wouldn't start. I messed with a cable and it started and then died again. an hour or so later it started right up and ran good for the rest of the day. Today, the car drove good in the morning. Later in the evening, i was driving and suddenly, my car shuts off while i was driving. I came to a stop and started the car again, moments later it died and it wouldn't start again. I am guessing the TFI Module, but anything could be possible. Any suggestions would be helpful! thanks.

Your guess is more than likely correct, that or the PIP module inside the distributor. Best bet is to do a spark test immediately after it dies and won't restart. You'll have your answer.

Well the reason i conclude that its the module is because when i replaced the dizzy i didn't re-apply die electric grease to the module. so my guess is that it is overheating and malfunctioning and creating problems.

update: Last night when my car started again and then shut off again momentarily. I let my car sit and cool down for about 2 hours and my car fired right up. As i was driving back to my has like half a mile later, it just shut off instantly. Would the ignition control module create these kind of problems?
