ya i kno, i almost bought a bag of ice or i could take all the BS out of my car ha. still had the spare and a craftsman floor jack alond with a half tank of gas.. the car weighed 3440lbs with me in it and i weigh about 185

somehow the white car in my sig weighs less than mine and he has a full cage... wtf? we have the same engine build, and same basically everything..

lol nope. my car is faster! haha well unless he uses the nitrous hah


since i havent hooked mine up yet.

yes keith i kno ive had it for a long time now lol. but i finally got what i wanted. window switch, bottle heater, blow down tube and pressure gauge. and i finally dug it out of my mothers house and brought it to my place so hopefully soon!

I went up Sunday and saw the cobra behind the stands.

Also saw jakes eaton powered cobra run 9.6 @ 135? thing screams..

Ever since '07 the turnout has gone down hill... nice cars though.. and young girls.

Sucks that it happened. What did the car do when you tried taking off? Did it just have a loss of power, backfiring, what?

actually, it hooked up really well, pulled all through first. When I slammed second gear the car just.... died. As if I turned the ignition off. I tried re-starting it as I was going down the track, but since the disty gear spun on the shaft... it was a no-go.

Did the gear at least stay on the shaft though when you pulled it out?

yup, it had just spun. We put a pair of pliers on it and got it back lined up, drove the broken pin out and replaced it with another. Then I drove it 120 miles home from the track.

Personally if I had designed that, I would have made the gear splined onto the shaft, and just used the roll pin to hold it in place.
