Default Help me chill!

It is that time! Blew my third radiator because the damn alternator couldn't run the fan at idle while I was in Bell rd traffic and me running on two hours of sleep, didn't notice the temperature gauge flat lining. Long story short, parked it at ross and saw the puddle coming out of the center of the radiator. Joy.

Oh well, I was saving to upgrade anyway. So my fellow 5.0 owners. What radiator would you recommend? I'm open to anything. A turbo 331 stroker will be going into the car very soon so it has to be able to cool that beast. I like to run the car hard and I live in Arizona so what would be a good radiator choice that is under $400.

that sucks bro get a higher amp alternator already and now def buy a radiator that you will be using with your 331 turbo so you don't have to upgrade twice

How did you get the car home?

A 3g alternator from PA performance is en route. Don't know why they had to wait til monday to ship though seeing as I ordered it thurs. :/ But now's the time to order the radiator.

I have heard really good things about the summit aluminum radiators but just wanted to get input on our fellow 5.0 owners favorite radiators for high horsepower. The car is also road raced often. Putting the MM coilover setup to work.

And to get it home....I let it sit for three hours while I went lingerie shopping with the gf. I then patched the rad with some liquid metal and waited an hour. Put some water in and it seemed the leak was just a slow drip now. I got it home that way. Flood gates opened once I hit my driveway though.

Why a 331? I just don't want my mods list to read 347 like everyone else. lmao. And I feel it's easier and cheaper to build a boosted 331 than a 347....

Dart Iron Eagle. Of course a new block is in order, mjr46.

I drive the car daily to ASU from Surprise so I'd like to retain gas mileage. So I might look into building a 327. How many mpgs are you guys making with a 347?

Mishimoto has great aluminum radiators for a good price, and all of their products come with a lifetime warranty =)
