Default injector size????????????????

i just bought an 88 lx 5.0 and i plan on buying some stuff for it, including a supercharger. If i buy the supercharger, what size injectors should i buy? I also plan on buying a typhoon efi intake combo, a 75mm tb and spacer, and the 190 lph fuel pump. I plan on the mac headers, x-pipe, flowmasters, and mac tailpipes.

id say 250#, just kidding, you neet to know the boost level to even begin to think about injector size. also, the typhoon isnt a boost friendly manifold, well i should say, over 8psi. you also need to figure out what boost level before selecting the fuel pump. but just as a guideline, 5-8psi=24#inj, anything more and 30# atleast will be needed. alot of the 5-6psi kits utilize the stock 19# inj, but i wouldnt recommend it. dont forget you gotta get a tune, and you will definately need an AFPR, and depending on the appl. a FMU.

thank you both for the quick response time, what manifold setup would you suggest to be boost friendly over 8 psi? and there is a computer tuning dude 20 min. dtr from me that i plan to utilize, he does it with a dyno and puters, probably knew that though, lol, but the price from him will be $300

most of the "street style intake manifold" are designed for low to midrange power, and wont let the blower reach its full potential. comp makes a box style upper, that bolts to the stock lower, its the best budget friendly way to go, but any box style manifold will work. also the TF track heat is good for blowers, and the TF R series, but both cost more than the comp upper. also cartech makes a box style but i have no idea what the price is.

Just to give you an idea my last combo which was a stock 302 with Edelbrock RPM heads and the Vortech blower. I had 42Ibs injectors and a 80mm Pro-M. The car made 417/433. On my new combo I am using 50Ibs and almost maxing them out.

like we are all saying, you cant get the supporting mods until you know what you will be supporting. start by selecting the level of boost you are going to run, then you can plan the supporting mods.
