Default Starter Trouble

Well I have tried just about everything I can think of. Battery is full charge. New starter. 12v are getting to the solenoid. 12 volts are getting to the end of the starter cable when key is turned. Starter is grounded to chassis.

When I turn the key I get very rapid clicking. If I unplug my starters ground cable then just one click. (This tells me ground is good correct?) Also I can turn the engine over by hand.

Please help!!!

bad wires.
12v is 12v.
but 12v with 500amps is much different than 12v with 30amps due to bad wiring.

Thanks man. I got it sorted out though.
Bad ground for the battery = not enough amps.
Thanks for the quick response though!
