I only use my stang for racing 99% of the time, but is it worth gettin a C4 over an AOD? I'm using a 4.10 gear and nitrous. I've heard C4s are faster-how much?

the c4 and aod have the same gear ratios for the first three gears
c4 has 2.46, 1.46, 1.00
aod has 2.40, 1.47, 1.0, .667

i have 410s with a aod i dont like the top end with the aod. that i have since 4th is so high of a gear doesnt pull hard enough in it.
if you look at it with a c4 youll run out of gear. i shift into 4th at 105mph with my car and that is at 6200rpms

i hear AOD just has pretty insane drivetrain loss and i havent heard that of C4's if it means anything to ya

if built correctly it is a lot stronger than the aod. but you can also get the aod built in run 8s also. it just costs more to build the aod compare ot a c4.
