Im doing my exhuast real soon, bbk equal shorties, bassani O/R X-pipe... then im having problems picking my catback
orginally is was gonna be mags but now im leaning towards flows, thinking american thunder but in the the describtion it says interior resonance (interior noise) those who use American thunder r they annoying for an everyday driver? should i go delta flow, what r u opinions on the deltas. sry for long post just want to get the right sound

go with the 40 series its quiet at idle and screams at higher rpm's the 50 series and whatnot are too loud in the interior in my opinion

Delta Flows reduce the interior sound levels and drone, but the Chamber they use to make it quieter on the inside, also makes it a little quieter on the outside. I'm runnin the 40 Series Orignials. They dont even include them in the catbacks anymore. Any A/T catback you buy will come with the Delta Flow mufflers. I just really like the Originals. They are the loudest and most agressive muffler that Flowmaster offers and, I must say it is very loud and agressive. You can definatly hear it on the inside. IMO, I like it a lot, I actually wish it was loud enough to make my ears bleed (almost is ). Others might hate that. Its all personal preference.

I have American Thunder on my 85 GT. There definatly is a resonating sound 2000 RPM's but I just shift up to the next gear. and I only worry about it if the wife or kids are in the car other wise i just leave in and love it. It also gets annoying around 75 to 80 mph on the highway.

Yes really, besides the race muffler lineup (1 chamber mufflers are considered by Flowmaster to be "Race" mufflers) 40 Series originals are the loudest and most agressive they offer.

I just put American Thunder catback on my 86 gt and its not much different then stock. It has a little burble at idle but it drones real bad with this stock hpipe and headers. Once I get an h pipe without cats I'm hoping it will be louder.
