Default Feel of 5.0 vs 4.6

Hello everyone, I'm new to the forum. I have never diven a stock 5.0 (225 hp) and I was wondering how it feels compared to the 4.6 (260hp). They say the over square 5.0 is much more torque than the square 4.6. It also has more mod potential. Can people who have driven both give thier opinions? Thanks <edited><editID>yellow4.6</editID><editDate>37960.9037268519</editDate></edited>

Are there stock 5.0's still out there?

And furthermore, with the coin still in your wallet after buying a 5.0 instead of the new GT, you're going to have MUCH more potential.

and i am starting to develop a taste for those foxes so i think you'd probably look mo bettah in a fox anyway. if you dont like the stock look theres tonsa stuff to do to the exterior of em. but anyway, but has a HUGE engine aftermarket that is primarily cheap so it has the vote for mod potential in mybook. and as for torque, i cant say from experience, but i would think they feel moreso because of more cubes, but i cant say for sure cause theres not a whole lot more.

well the 5.0 to me is easier to work on and use hipo parts are cheap and it doesn't seem to be slowing down. the 4.6 has beed around for what 8 years and the devolpment is getting better and prices are coming down and used parts can be had but the 4 cams cars sound sweet but cost a fair amount and will need stand alone systems that are very high dollars...you just have to rev them to get moving...as far as the 5.0 new devolopment will be slowing down and be geared for the newer cars as the hipo guys need a new sorce of income and the 5.0 will be sent to the back seat and be your chance then to have something different. because still after 10 years since the last fox rolled off there still is a glut of foxes due to the 4 banger conversion that are going on..

i hate the SVO look, butid take the engine. problem is id rather get the engine itself instead of worrying about selling the ugly body, be it a merkur, svo, turbocoupe or cougar. they dont go for s**t seeing as the only good part about em is the engine.</P>

basically im stuck with swapping the engine cause those bodies are ugly. i want a 4 banger lx hatch</P><edited><editID>Jugador</editID><editDate>37960.9381018519</editDate></edited>
