Default Runs good cold, then starts missing and wanting to stall at idle

I have replaced the coil, cap and rotor with no change.
Runs great when I first start it, then like 10 minutes later I can feel a little miss, then more and more. It gets worse the hotter the engine gets (hotter as in when it gets to normal operating range).
Pick up coil???
I had an extra IAC to see if that cured the idling problem but it didn't.

You can ohm out the eec temp sensor and see if its dead, or do the hard way and just buy a new one, but thats what it sounds like to me, either way run the codes on it.

I will check that out. I am a little stumped right now. I don't want to take it to a shop.

You might check for vacuum leaks. If you have a cracked vacuum hose or leaky IAC valve your engine will run lean as soon as it warms up. Have you tried spaying starting fluid into the air intake when it warms up to see if it still runs? You can find a vac leak location by spraying starting fluid near the leak. The engine usually will speed up as soon as it starts pulling the starting fluid into the engine. btw, vacuum meters are under $10.00 and very easy to use.

Two things to test and replace for heat related failures are the TFI module and the PIP sensor. You can find excellent tests for those on SBFTech.com

Thanks, it ended up being the module in the distributor. Replaced the distributor for $96.00 from Napa.
All is good.
