Default wont hold an idle at all. dies within seconds plz help. UPDATE NEW CODES 12,34,41,91

have h/c/i fox. it has been idling like crap for a couple days. but now it wont even hold an idle at start up. it fires up, idles at around 500rpm for a sec and just dies repeatedly. if i push the gas and hold it steady for 10sec itll hold a rough idle around 6-700rpm. so i check the salt n pepper wiring for loose connection. o2s looked decent. maf cleaned. t/b is new n clean. iac is clean. egr was replaced 6 months ago. had a nearby college campus auto shop smoke test it and no vac leaks. reset the comp and still same issue. after it warms up the car will hold a rough idle. but after a 10min drive, if im at a stoplight or just parked idling the cel comes on and car dies.

i will pull the codes this weekend. and list them if any. i just dont understand, i thought for sure maybe a vac leak somewhere. i have heard of iac"s failing, does this sound like the issue? i have no clue what to check to fix this anymore

12 degrees. idk i really suspected a vac leak, maybe underneath hoses under the intake. or even the intake manifold gasket. but the shop instructor said no. said to look into iac and maf.

What I'm saying is if your dizzy wasn't stabbed right and it's one tooth off, then the timing can be way too advanced or retarded and the mark will read 12 degrees. That's what happened on mine when I rebuilt it. Ran like **** until I restabbed it.

Dizzy happened to me after the rebuild too. Was it running fine and then started running crappy one day, or did you pull the dizzy out for anything?

no it ran fine long after the dizzy was put back in. but 1day idle just started bein rough and eventually its gotten bad enough to where itll die on initial start up unless i hold the throttle down. once it holds idle, its still rough. and after about 15min of drivin<if im stopped, the idle goes lower and batt gauge starts dropping and cel comes on and it dies.
wierd

ok guys. i have been trying to figure this out the last few days. so i cleaned iac, salt n pepper connectors, etc. car still dies on initial start up, i have to keep it revved up a while. and then it will hold idle but its very rough. after driving around a few minutes, the idle is fine. really wierd.

so i pulled codes again. this time i got koeo 34, koer 12 34 41 91. 12 is the iac code, cleaned iac, code still is there. 34 is the egr code, i applied vacuum to the egr valve at idle and it held the vaccum and car didnt even stumble at all. so i took it off and applied vaccum, and it hold vac, and is pretty clean on the inside. im thinking vac leaks. so i have the car smoke tested. results: they found smoke coming from bottom of oil dip stick tube and the oil pan? doesnt make sense to me. maybe you guys can help me, im lost.

oh btw new o2s arrive tomorrow. i took old 1s off, and one of them was really banged up and a p.i.t.a. to get off. im hoping to figure this thing out. please help
