Need a little bit of help with the Edelbrock Performer RPM ii EFI intake vacuum lines. Got the one under the plenum hooked to the far left of the vacuum tree, back of the intake to the pcv, and back of intake to fuel pressure regulator and one capped that goes to the egr because its deleted. When I unhook the one under the plenum it idles smooth as could be but the brakes get hard, when I plug it in, the car wont idle, back fires and surges on the idle, put a new tps in and did a base idle reset, please help me, pictures or walkthroughs would help a lot, thank you.

Sounds like a leak at your booster, are you saying you can leave the vacuum line unhooked and uncapped and it will idle correctly, or you have to cap the line for the booster for it to run right?

i can leave it uncapped and unhooked and the idle is perfect
