cam shaft material

Have a stock 95 5.0 that I need to replace the distributor. Want to make sure distributor and cam shaft gears are compatible - what is a 95 cam made of? Steel or iron?

Steel gear the camshaft material isnt what your needing to know!

Steel cam = steel distributor gear

Do you mean Roller? What are the bronze gear cams made of bronze?
