Default Removing Intake Manifold

If i want to remove my intake manifold on my 5.0 and paint it, is it diffucult and do i have to replace all the gaskets and such.

its pretty easy to do theres 6 bolts 2 back 2 biddle and 2front and you'll have to unplug all of the stuff connected to it just replace the gasket its like 50 cent insurance ,and also make sure to do the special torque sequence when mounting the intake back or it may leak on u

Heres what you do marty go out get yourself a Foed Mustang repair book (Chilton or Haynes) there you will find a lot of info.<img border="0" src=smileys/smiley2.gif border="0">

Wow. I thought cooler air was denser which means better combustion. Whats a COOL air intake for then?

i dont think it will be hard, just make sure you dont get cheepo paint.else, listen to mustang30240<IMG src=smileys/smiley2.gif border="0"> for you's bickering about cold air, denser air = more O2 molecules = leaner mixture = more power (i think i got that right) <IMG src=smileys/smiley16.gif border="0">if im wrong im just a noob. no matter what cold air = more power (some how).
