Default 93 GT Headlight issues

The parking lights come on but not the headlights or driving lights. Put in a new switch and checked all fuses, still doesn't work. Looking for wiring diagram or suggestions.

Do you have voltage at the headlight switch? Also check continuity between headlight switch and headlight plug

Multi switch is likely the cause.

You need this: http://www.latemodelrestoration.com/...Lever-Assembly

Then this: http://www.latemodelrestoration.com/...ector-Assembly

And this: http://www.latemodelrestoration.com/...Repair-Harness

Wire all that in, make sure it works proper like, then do this: http://www.corral.net/tech/maintenance/foglights.html

It might all seem like a lot to do, but if you don't, you'll continue to have this problem. The reason behind all of it can be read inside the last link.

"Ghetto rig's" create fire hazards, nullify wiring diagrams and decrease the likelyhood of a functional vehicle. I vote against.

That is some good tech info. One thing I would mention to take a quick look at is the ignition switch. Pull the plug and make sure that it has not burnt areas. also make sure that it is not seperating, the plastic part of switch to the metal part that rivets to the column. It has been a long time but I recall having some problems with mine in that area. Ford actually recalled alot of them back then. I dont remember if I had headlamp issues but I did have some electrical functions stop working from it. It was easy to replace. After i put the new ignition switch and plug in i zip tied the entire thing together to ensure that it could not seperate in the future. Never had another problem from it.
