I am leaking oil out of the dip stick hole in the block, this only happens when the car is running. The dipstick is in the hole but it wobbles around like the o-rings are shot. Does anyone know where I can get new o-rings or an after market dipstick. It has ford motorsports Shorty headers on it if that makes any difference. Thank you!

Sounds like your dipstick might be broken from the bottom. Pull it out and yoou will be able to tell. Just go to a junkyard and buy it for like $10, aftermarket is gann abo more of course!

Is it fully seated? never had an issue since the tube goes into the block like 3 inches or so.... probably broke or not in all the way

OK maybe broke cause I get an accurate oil reading. The reason I said o-rings is because I had my bro in law look it up since he works at the dealership and thats what he found.

Be careful pulling it out when you replace it. They dont come out easy when they aren't cracked. I'd hate to see 2 inchs of dip stick tube stuck in the block and the rest of the tube in your hands.

That's the only thing that scares me! I mean the whole dipstick will wiggle around in your hand.

If it wiggles around more than likely its already broken a piece inside! good luck!

Did you fix it? You can always try to macgyver some sort of hook that would insert into hole to pull out the broken piece!

Been there done that.... extracting a piece of the dipstick broken off in the block is a very simple fix.
