I replaced mine with a motorcraft one that I had laying around on a spare distributor. Definitely better quality part. First time I have ever had to change one

Yeah Ford relocated the TFI's on the 94-95 5.0 and the trucks and vans...its a pretty easy move get a heat sink from a truck mount your TFI to it and run i think its three wires to the dizzy from the TFI

yeah, you can make your own TFI relocation kit. That's what I was going to do, but after researching what was entailed... you need find a heat-sink, cut out a few "fins" (notch), solder up RF shielded wires and whatnot, it's probably more cost/time effective to just buy the kit for $50+ bucks and call it a day. I couldn't be happier with my set up. I was afraid to drive my car before... it would just die all of a sudden, then start back up 10 minutes later when the film cooled inside the TFI... then it would die again... vicious cycle...completely sucked.

Yep... it did get old fast, especially with the wife in the car! Hey, what part of NH are ya from? I grew up in the small town Ashby, MA on the New Ipswich NH line... we used to all so to NH on Sunday to buy beer and smokes cause they were cheaper, and you couldn't buy beer in MA on Sunday back then (not sure about now). BTW - I really like your stalker front bumper... wonder how it would look on my vert... hmmmm.... where did you get it?

Right on! The East Coast is having it rough these days with that concept... It's sad to think that the place where it all started is collapsing faster than a prom date's will power...
