What kind of racing are we doing, Roll races, off the line? Your comparing a AWD to a RWD, driver mod also helps a ton, maby practice launching? basic mods like intake and timing will add a few ponies but if hes eating you alive it obviously wont be enough. As everyone else is saying consider Nitrous, or a top end kit like heads, cam, intake, etc.

You'll want 4.10 gears, 1 5/8 long tube headers and a real sharp tune-up for sure alnog with 92 octane gas......
