shocks and struts
Is there any benefit to the kyb shock and struts(gas-a-just), as far as ride quality and traction. This car is my weekender for doing donuts and street racing punk *** kids with there hyundais. the monoroe are a lil bit it cheaper by about 50 bucks after all 4. what would yall recommend.

I recommend Strange adjustables. Considering what you get for your money they're very inexpensive: $120/ea front, $70/ea rear. The KYB replacements at autozone are $90/ea front and $45/ea rear. For the extra $110 I would absolutely go that way (and did). Then you can tune your rates for whatever you like and be setup well for future upgrades.
Otherwise I would put the cheapest thing on it that I could buy as it will probably be just as good as stock (crappy).

That's my opinion.
I've always put "cheap" shocks/struts on my daily mules (the middle grade Monroe... sensa-miles or something? They have a liftetime (or just really long... I can't remember anymore) warranty and I keep my stuff forever) and they've been fine for driving to work or the store. There's nothing wrong with them if you just want OE replacement... but that's what you'll get, OE results.

If there is nothing wrong with your stock suspension don't waste the money on the cheap stuff, you wont notice any difference. Take that 250 bucks and drop a set of 3.73 or 4.10 gears in the rear. If you can install the gears your self you can get the entire ford racing gears and install kit for just under 250, that is if you don't already have an upgraded gear set in it already. Will be the best 250 bucks youll ever spend .

I have strange adjustable shocks on my current car and have had KYB struts on previous cars and can tell you, you'll feel absolutely no difference from stock OEM spec struts on a daily driver/weekend street toy because youll never adjust them. I don't think you need high end suspension parts if your not doing some type of track racing.
