1993 MUSTANG GT SHUTS OFF AFTER DRIVE
hey guys, new to the forum, i have a 1993 MUSTANG GT, i'm sure there might be a thread already about this problem but i have been unable to find it, but either way, problem i'm having is after i drive my car for a bit especially on a hot day, the car runs fine then seems like its not getting any fuel, starts poping and losing power, then it just shuts off, after a few mins i'll start back up and run for 2-3 mins and again start poping and shuts off, when i let her sit for awhile she starts up and runs fine, then after a bit same thing happens. it sounds like a back fire type pop. any help with this matter will be appreciated. i was told by a local foxbody owner, that it could be the lines to the fuel pump, that they are to skinny for the pump, and that i should replace them and it should fix the problem. so i'll be trying that on monday. but any other info please help.

The stock power supply to the pump is more than adequate. So the wiring going to the pump shouldn't be your problem. You can get a multimeter and check the voltage at the ECM. Should be close to 12 volts. Check with key on.
