i gotta quick question... how far can i adv my timing and still be safe? until i hear the pinging, and then retard it slightley? thats what its at now, im not sure if thats good or not... thanks

lol so those people who run turbo blue 109.5 octane in a stock car is pointless lol.... also how do you advance timing n all that this iw anna learn

if their car is designed for it it does help the performance, but if not it doesnt help, maybe even hurts performance. to advance the timing you rotate the distributor cap. i dont remember which way though. if you get a timing light you can be more specific with it and you will know if you are advancing or retarding it. </P>
