stang vs. trans am part 2
ok i have a 93 lc notchback 5.0 and i was wondering which would win off a street start. that or a 78 trans am with a 400. mine is 302 ho with a bbk cold air itake and msd ignition the ma is sock. sooo!

MAN I WATCHED SMOKY AND THE BANDIT 80 TIMES,,I LOOK AT IT TODAY AND LAUGH...MY SISTERHAD A 79 4 SPEED I USED TO WASH IT FOR HER AND TAKE IT AROUND THE BLOCK BEFORE I HAD MY LICENSE,,,THOUGHT I WAS BAD,,IT DID PULL GOOD IT WAS BRAND NEW,,MY SISTER DIDN'T KNOW..<img border="0" src=smileys/smiley4.gif border="0">

My mom had a 79 bandit addition (BEFORE IT DAMN NEARED KILLED HER) with a fully built 403 OLDS and after the old man got through with it it could take anything it came across!Which is why my mother totaled it.5 miles an hour faster the medics said and the hood would have came through and through the steering wheel and decapitated her.The steering wheel saved her luckily.</P>
I remember it being stock though and it sucked ***!ASfterwards though it was a screamer!Are you sure its a 400?THe 79's were 403's to my understanding but again im not a G.M guy.</P>

THAT WAS THE LAST YEAR OFF THE 400 PONT.IT GOT STOLEN OF THE BACK LOT OF THE DEALERSHIP,,FOUND 6 MONTHS LATER 30 MILES AWAY BURN'T IN A CONSTUCTION SITE,,THEY JUST TOOKS THE SEATS...HOW DUMB,,IT HAD A SUPER T-10 TRANS IN IT..<img border="0" src=smileys/smiley5.gif border="0"> <img border="0" src=smileys/smiley5.gif border="0">

the Pontiac 400 came in 4-spd only in 79 210hp stock auto;s had the 403 olds 185hp most had 2.56 gears I had a 77 back inthe day with a 256 rear blew the 403 & put a 73 400 in it mild cam no cats at the same time my buddy had a 88 gt he would crush me off the like I would edge him out on the top end.
