Default Exhaust??!!

i just bought my mustang after a disappointing 2 years in the "rice" scene. itsa 95 GT conv with 5sp, and i first got turned on by it after i heard a mustang with the loudest, throatiest exhaust iv ever heard in my life. i want that exhaust!!! i was wondering, since yall r mustang fanatics and im just starting out as a newbie, if yall could tell me what is the best exhaust to make someone crap their pants when they hear it. i ordered a procharger supercharger, so what other "internal" mods should i do so i dont break my motor. THANX!!!

i would get me some mac full length/ O/R H-pipe/ and a nice catback system i would got american thunder or maybe the mac cat back. i don't like that high price magna hoe stuff

your components are strong but the weak point is the block. anything over 500hp the block decides to spilt in half, no lie

Default Exhaust??!!

well whats the stock HP and torque ratings on the 5.0? i read that its like 215 but that really seems kinda low to me and it feels like alot more when im driving it. my brother has a turbo MR2 with 200hp and 200 tor and its quik and all but the stang SMOKES him every time. what gives? 15 extra ponies can snake his car?

NOTHING and i mean NOTHING in my opinion sounds better than open headers on straight pipes!I run shorty style holley headers,open pipe 3 inch,into rear dumps right before the rear axle and its THROATY and can definately be heard from a distance!But the biggest factor for your setup would be the free flowing since you are going with forced induction.</P>


To beef your block up i suggest a VERY REPUTABLE HIGH QUALITYstud girdle.If you can go with ALL forged internals.If not atleast get a good set of rods and pistons.Are you able to build this thing from the ground up?Or are we talking you throwing this pro charger on and calling it a day?</P>

Another new guy here. So your saying if i put a Turbo on my Mustang I will most likly spilt my block. Cause i have a freind that is getting a T88 for his Supra and giving me his stock twin turbos. But if it will split my block i wont take them.</P>

i got at question for someone. What do you think of flomasters and then dumping them in the rear bumper? I had a guy tell me that he thought that it would really give my 95 GT some sound. thanx</P>

rocket, dont put the turbos on the mustang. i had a 98 t78 supra and i fully understand y yur friend wants to upgrade to the single from the twins, but the manifold u would have to customly make for the twins to fit on yur car would not be worth it. u would probably throw a rod or something. theGMkiller, i was told by my stepdad (a true redneck who knows alot about american motors) that all i would have to do is get forged heads, forged pistons, and do a port/polish. the supercharger calls for the gains to be a 85% increase in power and it cost roughly 4K. its an intercooled system.
