finally i sold the 97 z28, i couldnt stand driving an automatic anymore haha, im checkin out this 5.0 soon im new to 5.0's i really know nothing about them so if u guys could tell me if u think this stang is a good deal and what kind of power i can be expecting... its going to be at the track a lot so what kind of 1/4 times have u seen out of built 5.0's with the trickflow heads

nice choice and not a bad buy. as for the trick flow heads they are great i guess but im a holley man myself. most guys around here with trickflows cant hang with me motor to motor but thats mainly because they dont listen and they build too much on the motors before suspension. the fact of the matter is that you can have the best heads in the world and produce pot loads of power but if the suspension isnt modified enough to get it to the ground your just spinning your wheels..... literally!!!

If you're going to pay 10k for a 5.0 Mustang, might as well get a nice clean 94/95 Cobra.

BTW, I just sold my A4 LS1 and am looking into getting a M5 5.0 Mustang, preferably SN95 style.

ive seen a 99 cobra for 11k recently.

305hp, IRS, heavy duty T5... cant ask for much more right out of the box.

There are WAY too many things wrong with the description of that car. I really hope that this guy didn't put all of these parts on himself. I've never heard of 40 lb injectors, let alone seen them. Even if he did have like a 42 lb injector on that motor, that is WAY to much injector unless he's got a supercharger on it. I would really talk him downon that price, like half of that.

Also a car with only 30,000 miles that was "well maintained" as the person described, should NOT need a new paint job. I'd do a carfax on it before anything else and see if anything interesting pops up. I'd be willing to bet that the odometer rolled over and it's got 130,000 miles. Good luck!
