Here's mine! Peter, please reply if there is still an opportunity to verify and discuss purchase. I believe this is legit but would like to validate. Are you still planning to to go to Vegas in October?

Anyone ever track this guy down and see if his claim was legit? Does he still have the cars? Would be interested in buying one...

I have an M81 replica,80 Capri chassis,
5.0 w/T-5 Edelbrock intake and 4bbl.
I bought it at auction in '99 and did a little work to it.
Needs bodywork and exhaust.
It had no wheels at the auction yard and the airdam was ruined
when they used a loader to move it.
The lower rad support was also trashed so I cut it off and haven`t replaced
it.
The car is rust free and may have been a showcar at some time.
I`m in NE and no way would a car this old last here if it were a daily driver.
It`s yellow, from the overspray under the body and under some
interior panels it was hot pink at one time.
The wastegate hood was not on the car when I bought it so
I put a '79 pacecar scoop on it.
Interior is grey and looks to be from an '85 GT.
It now has has 16" basket wheels that look like the BBS wheels
that should be on it but they are not BBS.
Closest I could find.
There were only 6 replica kits made so this is a rare car.
I may be interested in selling it.
It is located in Ma.

Yeah the windshields are slanted more than a stock 5.0 would, and they come with the Mercedes top, no mustang badgings at all.

Pics of my white one are on page 3 and 4 of this link. Talked to the guy but he never sent me pics. Had a friend in SF near him but he never let him look at the cars. Just wondering what ever happened. They were never at Barrett Jackson.

Just bought one of the M81 race cars. Not sure if it ever raced or was a backup. Here is a pic. If the guy that had the cars that started this thread is still out there let me know. thanks Kendal
