Default 82 Mustang GT how much?

My cousin has a 1982 Mustang Gt that he wants to sell but doesn't know how much to ask for it. He got a Harley and doesn't drive it any more and he also wants to buy a house. I can tell you some background on it he is the second owner of this car. It has 95,XXX original miles on it the paint on it is amazing for being a black car. It has always been garage stored and never seen winter. When he got it, it was all stock and he started to modify it. He started by rebuilding the engine; he put pistons, cams, heads, headers, plugs, wires, and intake. He also put a full headers back exhaust. He has cobra polished aluminum rims I believe 17in. He has port and polished heads on it with 16 hours of labor into them. He has less then 5000 miles on the engine. He also has a 5spd trans with B&M shifter; he has less then 1500 miles on the trans. The control arms were also done with B&M parts. The things that haven't been modified are the struts/shocks and brakes. When it was stock the best he ran it was 15.1 he has not taken it back to the track since the mods. So I am trying to help him sell the car but felt like the guys on the forum here would know more about their worth then I do. Any input is appreciated.

Until I can see some pics, I say it's worth about $2000 tops... and that may be pushing it.

Any 'ported and polished' heads with 16 hours of labor into them would be sortof scarry to me......
Just my .02 worth...........

Ok so I added pics and no one comments. The exhaust on it is BBK headers with a mac exhaust all the way back. The flywheel and clutch ar new. It has an 8.8 in the rear with 3.73. It has an MSD ignition with a fuel pump street fo. The engine was bored over and is now a 306. The driveshaft was also replaced along with the t-5 trans. The engine has comp cams and roller rockers. The rims are a cobra replica 17in with 225 rears. He still has 5 original rims for it.

As for being a 14 sec car I think you are full of it. He ran a 15.1 when he had 157 hp and 240 torque stock. So with the work done he has much more then that and your saying he only gonna run in the 14's.

Cool sounds about what I was thinking he wants more but I wanted to get someone with more experience to say what they thought thanks.
